It was created as example for DWM programming article and can be useful because:

• It allows you to change all DWM parameters separately without DWM restarting
• Can change Aero Stripes amount or even disable them
• Can change colors for normal and overlapped windows separately.

Everything from this list you can’t make through Windows 7 UI.
